**Job Title: Painter** **Location: Stanford University & Bay Area** **Job Type: Contract (3-4 months)** **Description:** Join a leading Bay Area commercial painting company for a summer assignment. We're hiring experienced painters for projects primarily at Stanford University, with additional work in Mountain View, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Sunnyvale. Standard hours are 8 AM-4 PM, with potential overtime. **Responsibilities:** + Paint, stain, and varnish surfaces + Surface prep, plastering, and sheetrock finishing + Mix and match paints + Waterproofing and furniture refinishing + Set glass, apply putty, paint signs, and hang wallpaper **Requirements:** + 3+ years of recent commercial painting experience + Own painting tools and grip bag + Reliable transportation + Ability to work at multiple sites + Wear standard painter's whites and bring a packed lunch **Work Environment:** On-site at Stanford and nearby commercial buildings. Must be prepared for outdoor work, flexible hours, and weekend overtime. Daily assignments vary. **Apply now!** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
