Job Description

As a Mortgage Loan Advisor, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals financial stability and success. In this role, you'll receive training to learn about mortgage-specific systems and work toward getting your NMLS license reactivated. Once licensed, you'll work with leads and use your consultative sales skills, paired with your newly acquired mortgage knowledge, to provide Residential HELOCs. Over time, you'll have the opportunity to expand your expertise and offer additional products.

This position offers a hybrid work model for residents in the Phoenix, AZ metro area, with flexibility to work from home.

What You'll Do:

Review and assess applicants' financial information, credit, and property details to determine mortgage eligibility.
Educate and advise clients about mortgage products and guide them through the application process.
Assist clients in completing mortgage applications, ensuring all necessary information is collected to facilitate mortgage approval.
Navigate through the mortgage sales environment, utilizing the Loan Origination System, CRM, and other required tools across the mortgage process.
Maintain open and constant communication with prospects, loan applicants, and third-party vendors, providing timely follow-up throughout the process.
Obtain multiple state mortgage licenses within the first 45 days and continuously enhance your knowledge of mortgage products and services.

Qualifications:

Current resident of Arizona (role requires AZ residency).
Active NMLS license (or ability to reactivate).
Completion of the SAFE exam.
At least 1 year of mortgage lending experience.
Ability to meet state and federal MLO licensing requirements, including pre-license education, testing, and background checks for licensing in all necessary states.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Adaptability and comfort in a dynamic, entrepreneurial team environment.
