The Staff Pad has partnered with one of Colorado’s largest accounts receivable management companies to hire an IT Technical Support Specialist I. Headquartered in Longmont, this industry leader works with organizations across all 50 states, providing expert support in managing revenue cycles.
The Technical Support Specialist I will serve as a key contributor on the IT team, focusing on data file movement, basic troubleshooting, and tier-one support. This individual ensures that electronic data files are successfully loaded and validated within internal systems while also supporting end users with common technical issues such as password resets and system access. This role is based on-site and reports directly to the Director of Infrastructure and Security.
Key Responsibilities:
Load electronic data files into company systems and validate proper completion
Troubleshoot and escalate file processing issues when necessary
Monitor IT ticketing system and log support requests accurately
Resolve basic IT support issues such as account lockouts and desktop troubleshooting
Perform remote diagnostics using established procedures and technical knowledge
Accurately document support resolutions and follow up with internal teams
Suggest improvements to enhance system processes and end-user support
Assist in routine IT department maintenance and related support tasks

Preferred Qualifications:
Proven customer service or help desk experience preferred
Technical aptitude in office systems, databases, and desktop administration
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Associate’s degree or technical certification in IT-related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Office setting with moderate noise levels and consistent temperature
Frequent sitting, use of hands, and screen time
Occasional lifting/moving of items up to 25 lbs
Periodic phone-based support and remote troubleshooting
