Job Overview

Jubie's Creamery Ice Cream Baristas - Also known as flavor creators, rule followers, artists, and clean freaks.

Responsibilities

• Live by Jubie’s Mantra, “Think ice cream? Think Jubie’s!” and become an ambassador of the Jubie's Creamery Brand within the community
• Learn how to explain the difference between Jubies’ products and what makes them particularly unique from other stores
• Learn the science behind ice cream making
• Prepare inclusions, variegates, and other treats made in the kitchen
• Learn to expertly make each flavor of ice cream according to the Jubie's Creamery Recipe Book
• Become ServSafe OH level 1 certified and constantly practice/enforce ALL food safety rules outlined in the ServSafe Food Handler exam
• Work in a fast-paced, always-changing environment
• Follow all company policies as outlined in the Jubie’s Handbook and training documents
• Be open to working on weekends, late nights, some early mornings, and anywhere from 15 - 20 hours per week
• Able to stand for long periods of time (between 6 - 8 hours)

Skills/Requirements

• Must be 18 or older to apply
• You will be required to complete a State & Federal background check
• Have an eye for detail and meticulously follow directions
• VERY High standard for cleanliness and willing to clean a LOT
• Use critical thinking skills based off of training
• Be comfortable working with heavy machinery
• Effectively communicate with peers, other employees, and managers
• Be competent in Excel, Word, Google Drive, and comfortable with other online tools
• Incredibly organized and able to multi-task effectively
• Have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly
