Gecko Hospitality is an Executive Search and Consulting Firm. We are currently seeking a Midscale Hotel Assistant General Manager in the area of beautiful Springdale and La Verkin Utah. Compensation $65-$70K + benefits program. Marriott experience is preferred as the qualifications are very specific to be considered for the role. Front office managers and operations managers are encouraged to apply as well as experienced AGMs looking for growth with a competitive hospitality management company. Corporate Housing for individual/family may be available.
Skills Required:
Financial Acumen • Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. • Ability to analyze financial metrics and implement cost-saving or revenue enhancing strategies. Operational Expertise • Familiarity with housekeeping, front office, food & beverage (minimal qualifies), and maintenance processes.
Responsibilities:
Hands on operational oversight, Front Desk Oversight, and Interim GM as needed. This is a position that has you constantly in the field.
Qualifications:
MARRIOTT SYSTEMS • Candidate must have a working knowledge of Marriott’s MGS and Fosse PMS systems. • Familiar with Marriott Brand Standards for Select Service Hotels • FOSSE: Must have a working knowledge of Fosse PMS system o Front Desk Fosse PMS o Familiar with basic Fosse Accounting for credit cards and Group Billing o Familiar with Fosse Group/Sales for Reservations and Rooming Lists • MGS: Must have a working knowledge of Marriott’s MGS System for the following: o DLZ - Digital Learning Zone for Training o EMPOWER: Guest Experience (GXP) o guestVoice – Guest Review Responses o MDASH: Business Intelligence Tool
