Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman / Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks across eight property locations. This role requires flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle work orders as they come in. A construction and maintenance schedule will be provided for ongoing projects. Requirements: • Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or in a similar role. • Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work. • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. • Reliable transportation to travel between locations. • Must have own tools (preferred). • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. Schedule & Work Order Process: • Work orders will be assigned as needed based on tenant/property requests. • A structured maintenance & construction schedule will be provided for ongoing projects. • Flexibility is required for urgent repairs and special projects. Responsibilities: • Respond to maintenance and repair requests across multiple locations • Perform general handyman tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC troubleshooting • Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs. • Complete minor construction and renovation work as required • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards • Maintain records of work completed and materials used • Communicate effectively with property management regarding work status and supply needs Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in general maintenance and repair work • Ability to troubleshoot and fix electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems • Construction background • Proficiency in using various tools and equipment • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and customer service skills About Company: Cosmo Salon Studios is a space to empower beauty professionals across the nation to take control of their careers and become their own bosses. The beauty of Cosmo Salon Studios is that we empower passionate and dedicated professionals to create their businesses and have their own space.
